Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography, an examination of the biliary and pancreatic ducts with an endoscope. This can be used for diagnostic or theraputic procedures. As a diagnostic procedure, a catheter inserted into the biliary or pancreatic duct with fluoroscopy to introduce a contrast medium into the duct of interest. For therapeutic reasons, it can be used to remove stones or repair lesions and blockages.
