A chart that shows the maximum heat limit for a single exposure for that particular tube. Each tube has their own unique chart. The y-axis shows the mA while the x-axis provides the time in seconds. For each kVp setting allowed, a line is drawn for the maximum mA setting to the maximum time each kVp can be set before damage will occur. Each line is marked with the corresponding kVp.
