If I go to one of the top tier Caribbean medical schools, what are my chances of getting into a decent residency program?
How about specialties such as: radiology, anesthesiology, dermatology, would I have a chance getting into such programs, knowing they are competitive?

Graduates from the top tiered Caribbean medical schools do not have any problems getting into residency programs. The top 4 schools enjoy a good reputation in the US.
Selection into a residency program is based on individual merit more than anything else. The factors that influence the decision are your USMLE scores and the recommendations of physicians who supervised you during your clinical rotations.
Depends on how you do through med school. I would really push for an American med school if your thinking rads, anesthesia, Derm. They are VERY competitive and a FMG is very unlikely to fill a spot. Sorry, but thats the way it is.
